Vampire Research;

Today in lesson we were sent off to do some research on vampire mythology then after half an hour of doing so we came back to lesson and shared our ideas with the rest of the class.

Some of the research I found out from the internet/classmates;

. In the 1500s-1600s there was a woman called Elizabeth Bethory who would kill young virgins and bathe in there blood, because she believed it would it would make her look young and give her internal life. She was a Hungarian woman who lived until she was 54- (1560-1614), in her time of doing this weird thing, there were over 300 witnesses.
She is now known for "Blood Countess" for all of her killings.

"She has been labelled the most prolific female serial killer in history"

I think this bit of information is really useful, because even though she wasn't a vampire as such, she did unusual things that made people assume that there must be people who do other weird stuff such as this.

. Vlad The Impala was a Romanian who would stake his enemies through the heart. Bram Stoker loosely based his novel "Dracula" of this man.

This is good too, because it tells us where Bram Stoker got his inspiration from, too.
